Avec cette nouvelle signature, Hilton confirme son intérêt croissant pour les destinations loisirs et expérientielles en Afrique.
Situé à Mtubatuba, au cœur du territoire culturel zoulou, Umfolozi River Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton bénéficiera d’un emplacement stratégique à proximité de plusieurs sites naturels majeurs, dont Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Game Reserve et iSimangaliso Wetland Park, classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO.

Un resort de 102 chambres centré sur l’expérience locale
Le futur établissement proposera 102 chambres et suites ainsi qu’une offre complète de loisirs, bien-être et événementiel.
Le projet comprendra notamment un restaurant ouvert toute la journée, un lobby café-bar, un spa, une salle de sport, une piscine, deux salles de réunion et une ballroom destinée aux événements privés et corporate.
Hilton précise vouloir développer une expérience fortement connectée à l’environnement local, à travers des activités culturelles et communautaires inspirées du patrimoine zoulou.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, Senior Vice President Development Europe, Middle East & Africa chez Hilton, souligne que le KwaZulu-Natal représente « une destination particulièrement attractive » pour les voyageurs recherchant des expériences authentiques et immersives.
Valor Hospitality Partners opérera l’établissement
Le projet sera exploité par Valor Hospitality Partners, partenaire historique de Hilton sur plusieurs marchés internationaux.
